Downtown Thibodaux at Big Boy’s Main Street Cook-Off is returning this November– come experience a culinary showcase of Cajun cuisine and much more!

“Indulge in samples of bold and savory Louisiana-inspired dishes from over 30 teams while enjoying live music at the hottest cooking competition on the bayou,” reads a statement from Thibodaux Main Street, Inc. “It’s a feast that’s as vibrant as the culture it celebrates!”

One of three official “Up the Bayou” festivals and events of Louisiana’s Cajun Bayou Food Trail, the cook-off embodies an unapologetically Cajun lifestyle and celebrates the cultural identity of Thibodaux and all of Lafourche Parish. Big Boy’s Main Street Cook-Off will take place on November 8, 2024 from 5:00 PM-10:00 PM in downtown Thibodaux.

Burgers and soft drinks will also be available for purchase, and alcoholic beverages (for guests 21+ years of age) will be sold by downtown bars and restaurants.

Event attendance will be limited again to manage crowd size and comfort. A very limited amount of cash-sale tickets will be made available at one gate on event day for $15.00 per person (kids 10 and under enter free). To purchase tickets, please click here.
