Bayou Culture Collaborative November Meeting | November 15 from 12 – 1:30 p.m.- The Bayou Culture Collaborative is excited to present their November gathering of people and organizations focused on preserving Louisiana’s heritage and examining the effects of land loss on local culture. Founder and Executive Director of Healthy Community Services, Ms. Angela Chalk, DHA, will serve as the guest speaker for the upcoming event, with a presentation titled “Preserving Our Culture while Understanding Severe Weather Impacts.” Chalk’s areas of expertise include coastal land loss and restoration, urban storm water management, urban agriculture, health equity, safe urban spaces, and public health.
