It’s time to get your ducks in a row for the annual Houma Elks Lodge #1193 Duck Derby Extravaganza– while supporting veterans!


 

Watch in awe as hundreds of rubber ducks race against each other down Bayou Terrebonne in downtown Houma, vying for victory in a thrilling display of speed and determination. Alongside this fun, there will be live music, delicious food, vendors, and delightful drinks.

 

“Prepare yourself for a day filled with boundless energy and fantastic festivities, all while supporting a cause that truly makes a difference,” reads a statement from the Houma Elks Lodge #1193. “We’re rallying together to raise funds for our programs that provide unwavering support to our beloved Veteran Programs. It’s an adrenaline-pumping spectacle you won’t want to miss!”

 

The Duck Derby Extravaganza will take place November 16, 2024  at 2:00 PM in downtown Houma, with family fun beginning at 11:00 AM. Curious about how to enter the Derby? Participants can choose from the following options:

 

  • Single Racing Duck (1 entry)$5.00
  • Quack Pack (5 entries)$20.00
  • Quacker’s Dozen (12 entries) $50.00
  • Flock of Ducks (25 entries)$100
