Nicholls State University confirms that Dai’Jean Dixon, former Nicholls State University football standout wide receiver, has signed a rookie free agent contract with the New Orleans Saints.
According to Nicholls State University Athletics, Dixon had an impressive 236 receptions for 3,802 yards and 35 touchdown catches during his career with the Colonels. Dixon also ranks
second all-time in the Southland in receptions, third in receiving yards and fourth in touchdowns catches. He was also the first Colonel since 1986 to record a 1,000-yard season.
