Bayou Regional Arts Council announces brand-new Notes for Kids program

On October 31, 2024, at approximately 11:40 AM, the Houma Police Department received reports of unknown subjects discharging multiple gunshots in the area of Ashlawn Street, striking two homes. Officers promptly responded to the scene, but the suspects had fled prior to their arrival.
During the investigation, it was determined that the unknown subjects were attempting to shoot a juvenile male. Officers were able to identify the juvenile, who also fled the scene; however, he was unable to provide any information regarding the incident.
This case remains under active investigation.
