With the increasing threat of a mix of wintry precipitation early next week, university officials have decided to switch to remote delivery of classes for multiple days next week.

Dr. Alfred Delahaye contributed more than $670K to Nicholls State University
In fall 1957, Delahaye taught the first journalism course ever offered at Nicholls. He soon became the primary founder and coordinator of the Nicholls Hall of Fame and Alumni Federation and began the first regularly published student handbook “The Paddle” and the alumni publication “The Colonel.”

Rebowe announces retirement; Rybacki to be named head coach
"I credit Coach Tim Rebowe for his development and Athletic Director Jonathan Terrell for recognizing his potential. Nicholls’ Roussel and Brock receive top honors; five named All-SLC
The Southland Conference announced today that Nicholls center Evan Roussel was named Offensive Lineman of the Year, while running back Miequle Brock earned Freshman of the Year honors. Roussel also joined four teammates—Zack Bernard, Rasheed Lovelace, Jake Dalmado, and Eli Ennis—on the All-Southland First Team.
