Established by the dedicated retired diocesan priest Fr. Willie Todd in collaboration with the Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana, the foundation aims to nurture new projects and ministries, ensuring a vibrant future for the community he has passionately served.

Todd, whose remarkable generosity and unwavering commitment to our diocese shine through in every initiative we undertake together,” remarked Amy Ponson, CEO of the Catholic Foundation. “His visionary approach and deep love for the community are evident in the establishment of this fund, which draws from his personal resources. This fund not only offers immediate assistance to parishes and schools but also guarantees that Fr. Todd’s vision will endure for generations. His dedication makes him one of the most extraordinary priests we have had the privilege to work alongside.”
The grant recipients of the Fr. Willie Todd Foundation are chosen through a meticulous process led by a dedicated grants committee. Fr. Todd collaborates closely with his board of directors to thoroughly assess each application, ensuring that the chosen projects align with his mission. This year, the foundation proudly distributed a total of $32,147 to support a variety of initiatives.
