Two of Lafourche Parish’s biggest festivals are returning to Thibodaux this weekend, for two days of community fun, live music, and delicious food.

Come out to downtown Thibodaux on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 5:00 PM-10:00 PM for the annual Big Boy’s Main Street Cook-Off, embodies an unapologetically Cajun lifestyle and celebrates the cultural identity of Thibodaux and all of Lafourche Parish.

“Indulge in samples of bold and savory Louisiana-inspired dishes from over 30 teams while enjoying live music at the hottest cooking competition on the bayou,” reads a statement from Thibodaux Main Street, Inc. “It’s a feast that’s as vibrant as the culture it celebrates!”

Event attendance will be limited again to manage crowd size and comfort. A very limited amount of cash-sale tickets will be made available at one gate on event day for $15.00 per person (kids 10 and under enter free). To purchase tickets, please click here.

But don’t go too far– on Saturday, November 9, 2024, Thibodeauxville Fall Festival will kick off in downtown Thibodaux from 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. This beloved event, held in the heart of downtown Thibodaux, celebrates the rich culture and vibrant community of Lafourche Parish.

“Enjoy live music, a petting zoo, local food, 200+ craft vendors, a kids activity corner, a classic car show, and of course the Houma Elks Lodge #1193’s Duck Derby Extravaganza at the Thibodeauxville Fall Festival,” reads a statement about the event. “With activities for all ages and unique local treasures to explore, Thibodeauxville offers something for everyone. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to experience the warmth and charm of Thibodaux in the fall!”

Thibodeauxville Fall Festival is free for everyone to enjoy. See more details about the festival here.
