Jindal backs area senator for Senate president

Anatole “Nat” Joseph Bourg, 64, a native and resident of Lockport, La. died Monday, November 19, 2007, at 10:05 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Marie Plaisance Bourg; his mother, Anna Rogers Bourg; one son, Jacob Bourg and his companion Beth Neal; two daughters, Jennifer Bourg and her companion Bridgette Kennedy and Jeanette Monyelle and her husband Bo; two brothers, Avie Bourg, Jr. and Scuddy Bourg; one sister, Sandra Manuel; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Avie Anthony Bourg, Sr.
Anatole was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Savoir Catholic Church. He was a United States Navy Veteran, American Legion Post 83 past Commander, Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus #3054, a member of 40-N-8, and a retired state tax collector.
Visitation is Friday, November 23, 2007, from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Holy Savoir Catholic Church. He will be buried in the church cemetery.
