Bessie Blum Cobb Antis, 86, a native and resident of Houma, La. died Saturday, July 28, 2007, at 5:15 a.m.
She is survived by her two sons, Herman Antis, Jr. and Thomas Blum Cobb, Sr.; one daughter, Amalia Susan Antis Smith; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leopold and Amelia Lewald Blum; two brothers, Joseph, Sr. and Louis, Sr. Blum; one sister, Sarah Blum Babin; and one grandson, George Fakier Cobb.
There is no service scheduled at this time.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
