Catholic Charities: Oil leak syndrome expected to hit home

June 25, 2010Cynthia Ann LeBoeuf Theriot, 55, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, June 22, 2010.
Mrs. Theriot was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. She enjoyed camping, traveling, spending time with her family and Mardi Gras. She was a member of the Krewe of Aquarius and was a six year captain of the “Stray Katz” float. She will be sadly missed by all.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Gerard Theriot; son, Daniel (Alicia) Gerard Theriot II; daughter, Dawn (Keith) Theriot Marcell; grandchildren, Brennan Keith, Landon Joseph, Cameron Daniel, Macy Rae, Addison Jane and Fallon Nicole Theriot; brother, Troy LeBoeuf; sisters, Rosalie (Larry) Grabert, Angela (Hilton) DeGruise, Crystal LeBoeuf and Leona (Jimmy) Gustin; half-sister, Taira LeBoeuf; sister-in-laws, Shirley Theriot and Donna (Robert) Sue Trahan; and numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Florence Duthu LeBoeuf; grandparents, Irvin “Bud” and Rosalie Carlos LeBoeuf, Sidney and Leona Frederick Duthu; grandchild, Darian Jane Theriot; brother, Ricky LeBoeuf; sister, Colleen Forse; half-brother, David LeBoeuf; brother-in-law, Donald Theriot; and niece, Rosary LeBlanc.
The Theriot family would like to express their sincere gratitude to her devoted care givers, Monica Trahan, Amanda McCorkel, Journey Hospice and everyone else that contributed to the special care given to their mom during her final days with them.
She is buried at Magnolia Cemetery.
