Dorothy Champagne Voisin, 79, a native and resident of Theriot, La., died Friday April 4, at 3:20 a.m.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Nolan Voisin of Theriot; daughters, Anita Voisin Regira and husband, Lawrence, and Jacqueline “Jackie” Voisin Crain of Theriot; sisters, Ethel Bourg of Dulac, La., Marguerite Pellegrin of Chauvin, La., and Geneva Toups of Raceland, La.; and grandchildren, Mia Crain and Zachary Regira.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Faustin Champagne and Aglae Brunet Champagne; and sister, Ena Voisin.
She was the co-owner of Nolan’s Grocery Store. She loved football, gardening, sewing and she adored her grandchildren. She was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, April 7, at St. Eloi Catholic Church with mass to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
