Dorothy W. Ernst, 77, a native of Victoria, Tx. and resident of Luling, La., died Sunday, May 24.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Ernst and wife, Missy; two daughters, Darla McBroom and husband, Randy, and Dana Hull and husband, George; one sister, Sue Miller; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Frank Ernst; her parents, Henry and Olivia Medemeier; one son, Orion Ernst; and two sisters, Pat Reaves and Virginia Rhodes.
She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Raceland, La. with Religious Services and Crematorium to follow.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
