Terrebonne’s derelict vessel removal first phase complete

Elsie Mae “Mae Mae” Harris, 66, a native of Belle Rose, La., and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Wednesday, June 15, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Harris; daughters, Shawanda, Debra and Geneva Harris; sons, Joseph Jr. (Roxanne), Anthony, Clifford, Gerade and Kenya Harris; sister, Theresa (Charles) Fleming; brother, Stanley (June) Mitchell Sr.; 26 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Geneva Williams; son, Travis Harris; stepfather, Joseph Mitchell; and sister, Laura Bell.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 21 at Williams & Southall Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 22 at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Williams & Southall)
