Elvida Pitre Dufrene, 86, a native and resident of Cut Off, died on Monday August 16, 2010.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Carolyn) Dufrene; daughter, Louis (Willard) Terrebonne; sister, Nola Bruce; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Junius Dufrene; parents, Fedless and Loridia Doucet Pitre; sons, Roy and Jimmy Sr. Dufrene; brothers, Clifton “Cliff” and Jefferson “Jeff” Pitre; sister, Willie Mae Duet; and two great-grandchildren.
She is buried at Cheramie Cemetery.
