James “T.J.” Cantrelle III, 17, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010.
He was an All District quarterback and basketball player at Vandebilt Catholic High School.
He is survived by his parents, James Cantrelle II and Amy (Don) Hohensee; grandparents, James (Leona) Cantrelle and Leon (Beverly) Foret Jr.; brothers, Joseph and Jake Cantrelle; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29 and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 30 at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with burial at the church cemetery.
