March 9, 2010Sheriff’s ranges give public a new target
March 11, 2010Jerry Thomas Gautreaux, 59, a Louisiana native and resident of Houma, La., died at 11:30 p.m. Monday, March 1, 2010.
A parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubrious Catholic Church, Mr. Gautreaux was the retired fire chief for the Bayou Cane Fire Department. He served in the Army National Guard. He was co-founder of the Team Spirit Leadership Conferences.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie Callegan Gautreaux of Houma; daughter, Wendy (Conrad) Harlan; sons, Jason (Angela) and Justin (Ashley) Gautreaux; seven grandchildren, Luke Gautreaux, Audry and Andrew Harlan, Ayden Gautreaux, Abigail and Ethan Bexley and Samantha Delatorre; brothers, Ronald and Donald Gautreaux; and
sisters, Norma Bonvillain and Margaret Prosperie.
He was preceded in death by his father, Neaston Gautreaux; mother, Mary Scott Fayette; stepfather, Norman Fayette; and brother, David Gautreaux.
