Lois Arcement LeCompte, 79, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 1:50 p.m.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Leroy LeCompte; one son, Matt LeCompte and wife Danielle; three daughters, Paula Flint, Phyllis and husband Mike Hebert, and Pennie LeCompte; one sister, Sherry Herring; one son-in-law, Raymond Flint; and six grandchildren, Cody, Jade and Layne LeCompte, Evan and Owen Hebert, and Garret Flint.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nollie Arcement Sr. and Alcida Theriot Arcement; one brother, Nollie Arcement Jr.; and one sister, Ayres Champagne.
She was a retired secretary from the Lafourche Parish School System. She was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland and a member of Catholic Daughters and American Legion Post #349.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at St. Mary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
