Lorry Anthony Dufrene Sr., 68, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died Thursday, March 5, at his home.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Amanda Danos Dufrene; mother, Lillian LeBlanc Dufrene; mother-in-law, Margie C. Danos; son, Lorry A. Dufrene Jr. and wife Linda; daughters, Donna Warren and Tammy Bonvillain and husband Wayne; brother, Fernand Dufrene Jr.; sisters, Helen Chiasson and Audrey Cheramie; grandchildren, Michael Lafont Jr., Jeremy Warren, Brittany, Brett, Brooke, Courtney and Paige Bonvillain, and Mindy and Luke Dufrene; and step-grandson, Danny Fonseca.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fernand Dufrene Sr.; and an infant son.
He was an usher at Holy Savior Catholic Church of Lockport, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Savior Altar Society. He was the proud co-founder of the community that cares. Most of all he loved God. Jesus First.
He was buried at Holy Savior Catholic Church Cemetery in Lockport.
