Miriam Helen Hebert Fanguy, 87, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Montegut, La., died Friday, January 11, 2008, at 10:42 a.m.
She is survived by one son, Royal Fanguy Jr.; one daughter, Kathleen F. Burchfield; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Royal J. Fanguy Sr.; her parents, Elie Hebert and Ella Songe Hebert; and one brother, Murphy Hebert.
Miriam was a homemaker and retired seafood worker for Chauvin Brothers and Matherne Seafood for more than 40 years. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church
She was buried at Sacred Heart Catholic Church cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
