Fletcher receives disaster expansion funds
August 23, 2011Norman Jack Coden, 84, a native of St. Louis, Mo., and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011.
Mr. Coden worked for Lorrillard Tobacco as a salesman for over 30 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed working in his yard, loved the New Orleans Saints and was a loving father and husband.
He is survived by his wife, Marynel Coden; and daughter, Mary (Clark) Labat.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Fannie Coden; and infant daughter, Marilyn Coden.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. (Chauvin)
