Robert Herbert Mike, 71, a native of Hammond, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at 2:50 a.m.
He is survived by his son, Wade Mike and wife, Lesley Rodrigue Mike; daughters, Cindy M. Ordoyne and husband, Arthur, Nita M. Dewey and husband, Ted, and Bobbie M. Mike; brother, Joseph Mike; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores W. Mike; his parents, Sam Mike and Cora Achord Bowman; and brothers, Sam “Buck” Mike and John “Buddy” Mike.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux with mass to follow. Visitation will also be 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, and 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008 at St. Landry Baptist Church in St. Landry with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at Vandeburge Cemetery in Chicot.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
