Rosalie “Rose” Billiot, 64, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Thursday, April 2.


She is survived by her sons, Wayne Billiot and wife Janice, Clyde “John” Billiot and wife Tammy, Daniel “T-Dan” Francis and wife Sherry, Patrick “Buck” Billiot, Nicholas “Nick” Billiot and wife Rayda, and Roy Billiot; daughters, Lisa Dean and husband Robert, Dale Hebert and husband Louis, Oricia Billiot, Rachel Sampey and husband Frelan, and Celina “C” Delatte and husband Keith; brothers, Whitney “T-Whit” Billiot and Kalvin Billiot; sisters, Gayle Billiot, Florena “Florence” Kiger, Laura Matherne and Patricia “Patty” Huskey; 40 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Billiot; parents, Edison and Auretia Mobley Billiot; brothers, Raymond Billiot, Gary Billiot and Jerry Billiot; sister, Isabelle “Zob” Billiot; and one grandchild.

The funeral was Monday, April 6, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off, La., with burial at Cheramie Cemetery.
