November 28, 2011Samuel Hunter DesLatte’, 28, a native of Houston, Texas, and resident of Paradis, La., died Monday, Nov. 21, 2011.
Mr. DesLatte’ was the founder and lead vocalist of Southdown. He leaves behind a life of true musical genius and influence. He was a loving father, brother, friend and lover of all his supporters.
He is survived by his father, Roy (Karla) DesLatte’; mother, Laurel DesLatte’; daughter, Ava DesLatte’; brother, Nicholas DesLatte’; and sister, Melanie Davenport.
Visitation will be 12 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Chauvin Funeral Home with services to follow. (Chauvin)
