Warren Young Sr., 90, a native of Mathews, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Saturday, March 30, 2013.
He is survived by his sons, Warren Jr. (Ann) and Flored Young; daughters, Mercedes McClendon, Brennell White and Deloris Bonham; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Sr. and Lucille Young; first wife, Lula Young; second wife, Jeanette Young; brother, Willie Young Jr.; and grandparents, Mary Shields and Victoria Brown.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at Morning Star Baptist Church in Raceland with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Kennedy)
