Anthony Louis Scricca, 70, a longtime resident of Houma, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation in his honor on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until a Liturgy of the Word at 12:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery.

Anthony is survived by sister, Teresa Snijdewind; nephews, Thomas Voisin and Clayton Voisin, Jr.; and numerous cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in passing by his parents, Louis and Rosemary Scricca; and aunt, Sylvia St. Pierre and husband Richard.

Known for his passion for impersonating Elvis Presley, Anthony found joy in entertaining others and sharing his love for Italian and Chinese cuisines alongside his family. In his free time he enjoyed watching Law and Order.

Anthony’s warm smile and charismatic personality endeared him to many, and his ability to bring joy to those around him will be dearly missed. Anthony’s legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to his passions will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.

The family would like to thank Elaine and the staff of Payne in Home Care, the Heart of Hospice, and Terrebonne General Fifth Floor Staff for their kindness and empathy in a time of much sadness and grief. We would also like to thank Cathi and Amos Gautreaux for opening up their heart and home for many years to Anthony after our mother’s death.
