July 21, 2023Doyle Anthony Olivier, 64, gained his angel wings after a short struggle with terminal cancer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Allemand Olivier; daughters, Mary-Marie Olivier Quick (Harold), Angelique Olivier Bourgeois (Russell), Danielle Olivier Duet (Jason), Erin Olivier (Sonny), and Alysse Olivier; eight grandchildren, whom he loved dearly; one great-grandchild; siblings, Darlene O. Antee (Michael), Melanie Olivier, Mary Jewel O. Hebert (Chucky), Dale Olivier (Cindy), Amanda O. Hebert, Darrin Olivier (Wendy), and Dru Olivier; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Austin P. Olivier, Jr.; his older brother, Michael Austin Olivier; paternal grandparents, Austin Olivier, Sr. and Julia Lovell Olivier; and maternal grandparents, Alcee “Till” Allemand and Girdie LeBouef Allemand.
Doyle will forever be remembered as a devoted grandfather, and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family wishes to thank Journey Hospice, especially his nurses, Monique and Bailey. The family would also like to thank his caregivers, Brooke, Megan, and Patrice for the loving care and compassion given to Doyle during this time.
