Elton Joseph Parfait Sr., 66, a native and resident of Houma, passed away on October 31, 2024.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 3pm to 7pm at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue. Visitation will resume Monday, November 11, 2024 from 9am to 11am, with the funeral service to begin at 11am, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue. Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery.
He is survived by his children, Cassie Authement (Michael), Elton “Nunu” Parfait Jr. (Amber), Frampton “Gut” Parfait, and Misty Singh (U.K.); brothers, Elgin J. Parfait Sr. (Ernestine) and Camille “Josh” Parfait; sisters, Elda Carrere (Anthony Jr.), Ellen Trosclair, and Esther Romero (Miguel); and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Veronica Parfait; brothers in law, David Trosclair Sr. and Hardy Trahan; parents, Hilton and Josephine Parfait; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
