Jonathan “Johnny” L. Fanguy Sr., 70, a native of Houma, Louisiana and resident of Chauvin (Smithridge Community), Louisiana passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue, Houma, Louisiana from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service at 11:00 am. The burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery, Houma, Louisiana.
He is survived by his children, Jonathan “Johnny” Fanguy Jr. (Michelle), Jessica Fanguy, and Ryan Fanguy (Brittany); Trey Marcel, Tate Fanguy, Macy Fanguy, and Asialyn Harris; great-grandchildren, Kai Marcel and Elijah Marcel; sisters, Marylyn and Gwen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Easton Fanguy, Sr. and Mary Lovell Fanguy Fonseca; brother, David Paul Fanguy; and son-in-law, Terence Harris.
