Julie Ann Hall-Kern, age 65, a native of Houma and resident of Lottie, La., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 14. 2023 after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis and lung transplant.

 

Julie is survived by her husband, Michael Kern, Sr.; her sons, Jason Hall (Tally), Justin Hall (Jessica), Jess Hall (Crystal), and Michael Kern, Jr. (Alyssa); her mother, Wilda Bergeron; her sister, Dinah LeJeune; her brother, David LeBoeuf (Mary); her grandchildren, Carissa, N.J., Ian, Jay, Shane, Wyatt, Jack, Kaylie, Hadley, and Michael the III; her great-grandchild, Adalee.

 

Julie was preceded by her husband, Gary Hall; her father, Reynold LeBoeuf; her brother, Dale LeBoeuf; her nephew, Catlin LeBoeuf; her sister-in-law, Barbie LeBoeuf; her brother-in-law, Charlie LeJeune.


 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation in honor of Julie on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Chauvin Funeral Home in Magnolia Chapel beginning at 9:00a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00a.m. The Nurse Honor Guard will pay tribute to Mrs. Julie at 10:00a.m. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

 

Julie was a loving wife to her husband and mother to her 3 boys. She was a nurse by profession who cared for many in our community, but her greatest love was being a mimi to her grandchildren.

 

Julie graciously received the gift of life through organ donation and would encourage others to consider becoming a donor. She had a wonderful personality, and had touched the lives of many families, friends, and patients. She will be remembered and loved forever by all the lives she touched.
