Larry Paul Adoue, age 75, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, April 2, 2022, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. with burial following in St. Francis #2 Cemetery.

Larry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary McKey Adoue; son, Nolan Andrew Adoue; sister, Dianne Adoue Goodrow and husband, Fred; brother-in-law, Gerald Porche; grandson, Justin Andrew Boudreaux and wife, Kaitlyn; great-grandchildren, Julian Andrew and Jemmah Jewel Boudreaux; and niece and nephews, Erin, Fred, and Andrew Goodrow, and Kenneth Porche.


Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew N. and Stella LeCompte Adoue; brothers, Andrew and Nolan A. Adoue; sister, Sylvia Adoue Porche; and sister-in-law, Judy Boudreaux.

Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. He was an oilfield salesman for many years. He was a past member of the Elks Lodge. Larry main passion was pool, which led to him having many new lifetime friends. He enjoyed spending time at the camp playing cards and fishing. He was an avid Saints fan from the very first game in 1967. He will be dearly missed by all whose hearts he touched.
