Linda Adair Bourgeois, 64, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, and long time resident of Houma, Louisiana, passed away on August 11, 2021.

A visitation will be held in her honor Saturday, August 14 at Samart Funeral Home in Gray, Louisiana, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

She is survived by her husband, Carroll Bourgeois, one son, James Bourgeois and his wife Kristina, one daughter, Elisha Bassin and her husband Matthew, four grandchildren, Jolie Bourgeois, Maygan Shelton, Morgan Dantin, and Dylan Dantin, one great grandchild, Valerie Montana, two sisters, Peggy Burden and Judy Till, and one brother, Joe Adair.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Ollie Adair, one brother, Jonnie Adair, and one sister, Ann Boudreaux.

Linda was always full of love, and quick to share that love with everyone she encountered.
She was a social worker for the state of Louisiana for 17 years.
She loved all of those children as much, and sometimes seemingly more than their actual parents.
Of course, no one held a spot in her heart as much as her husband, children, and grandchildren did.
She had unconditional love for them all, and expressed it continually.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park is in charge of arrangements.
