Margaret Marie Hebert, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, surrounded by her precious family.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in Chapel Dauphine of Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, beginning at10:00 a.m. until the Liturgy of the Word at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery 2.
In order to keep the family safe, please wear a mask when offering condolences and last respects.
Margaret is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Alton Anthony Hebert; daughters, Helen Hebert, Patty Hebert Lajaunie and husband Hilton Lajaunie; adored grandchildren, Annie Marie Lajaunie, and Dr. Jared James Lajaunie; brother, Charles Landry and wife Dora. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Oleus and Annie Thibodaux Landry; siblings, Lloyd Landry, Lucille Oncale, Betty Landry, and Rosemary Landry.
Margaret was a beautiful woman with a loving spirit. She loved her family dearly and adored her grandchildren. Margaret was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and served on the bereavement committee for many years. Anyone who knew Margaret, knew she loved sewing, crocheting, cooking, tending to her plants, and embroidery. Margaret leaves this world behind to be reunited with her family who passed before her. She is now at peace and rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
