A visitation will be held in his honor on Friday, July 21st, 2023 from 9:00 am until service time at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Schriever. A Celebration of Life Mass will begin at 12:00 pm at the church with burial following in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Brenda Comeaux Gray; children, Joseph Hunter Gray (Brooke), Robert Danny Gray; grandchildren, Ford Thomas Clark, Gabrielle Olivia Gray; and sister Claudia Gray Bosworth.
He is preceeded in death by his Father, Claude Gray; Mother, Annie Land Gray; brother, William Jasper Gray; daughter, Monica Gray Clark; son, Brandon Paul Gray; and grandson, Maxwell Dan Clark.
Dan spent his whole life in the Oil and Gas industry and was the long-time owner and operator of OK Fishing & Rental Tools. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, traveling the country in his RV, frequenting casinos and horseraces, and of course breeding and raising his legendary
roosters.
Our family would like to thank Dr. Stephen Charbonnet, Dr. Devin Bourgeois, Rachel Landry, and the dedicated workers of Haydel Hospice for their excellent care during this difficult time.
