Susan Chaisson Ellender went to her eternal resting place on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the age of 60.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 42 years, Eddie Ellender; her daughter, Casey Domangue and husband Justin Domangue; grandchildren, Cohen, Nate, and Klaire; sister, Linda Danos (Ronnie); brothers, Jackson Chaisson, Jr. (Ted) and Dennis Chaisson (Judy); and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Jane Melancon; and parents, Jackson Sr. and Loretta Chaisson.
She was loved by many and will be extremely missed by anyone that knew her. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, cooking, fishing, and spending time outdoors. She dearly loved her family, especially her three “little people”. She was a “Jill” of all trades and a very talented seamstress and cook. She had a very strong faith and would help anyone in need. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church, Bayou Blue.
