Thomas “Tommy” Christopher Ledet, Sr., a native and resident of Houma, LA passed away on Friday, July 8 2022 at the age of 58.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Samart Funeral Home in Gray, LA. Internment will take place at a later date.
Tommy is survived by his daughter, Vanessa Ledet Dutton and husband Dirk Dutton; sisters, Suzie Lichenstein and Cyndi Smith; brother, Louis A. Ledet, Jr.; grandchildren, Krista, Hayden and Emma Dutton; and close companion, Elaine Thibodaux.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Virginia Callahan; father, Louis Anthony Ledet, Sr.; son, Thomas Christopher Ledet, Jr.; sister, June Marie Ledet; and brother, Carroll Joseph Ledet.
Tommy was a welder by trade and loved hunting, fishing, boat riding, cooking, and his children, grandchildren and family. He was a kind and big hearted man always ready to do anything for anyone. His tremendous sense of humor and big personality will certainly be missed.
