To know Wayne was to love him. He knew no stranger. He was a huge jokester who had the most generous heart. A kid was never in trouble when Pete was around, well maybe except for Zack. He loved his family beyond measure. Even in his last moments he made sure his kids and grandkids were cared for. He would have given his last breath for them and he did. He especially wants to thank Wade and Tommie for taking care of his girls and grandkids. He was okay letting go knowing they are in good hands.

In keeping with Pete’s loving and generous spirit, it was his decision to donate life so that others may live. He was known as a giving person and even in death, his giving continues as his organ donation will touch the lives of others.

The family would like to give a special thanks to TGMC CCU Department for helping him “FIGHT LIKE A LIRETTE”, especially Angelle Lyons and Tyler Creel.
