Daniel John Lirette Jr.

Daniel John Lirette Jr., 45, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died at 8:58 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012.

Mr. Lirette was a dedicated musician who toured the United States through his music. He was a G.E.D. instructor for project Learn-Laterre. He loved witnessing for Jesus through his participation on the Praise and Worship team at Grand Caillou Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Carol Lirette; son, Matthew McAllister; parents, Daniel Sr. and Norma Lirette; brother, Lance (Poppy) Lirette; and sister, Summer (Bert) Skarke.

Burial was at Garden of Memories Cemetery. (Chauvin)
