Russell P. Marcel, 86, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 8:10 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2011.
He is survived by his son, Thomas Marcel; daughters, Lyla Barker, Phyllis Boudreaux and Janet Kirsch; brothers, Junel, Kurt, Louis and Norman Marcel; sisters, Rita and Louise Porche, Alice Clark, and Ethel Babin.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Angelle Marcel; parents, Sullivan and Louise Marcel; sister, Hazel Filce; and great-grandchild, Matthew Davis.
Burial was at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Falgout)
