Mazur has been playing soccer since she was three years old. She has played travel soccer for about ten years and plays on the VCHS varsity team. Although she is injured, she said she hopes to come back strong and looks forward to playing in August.
Dehart chose Nicholls because it is close to home and it’s been a dream of hers to play in her own backyard. Softball coach Jeremy Duplantis said Dehart is a hard worker and puts in a lot of work not only during practice but also at home. He said four to five days a week she is pitching and when she went to pitch for the college, “she lit it up,” because of how hard she’s been working.
Congratulations, girls!
