TGMC names Gaudet pharmacy director

Andrea Gaudet has been named pharmacy director at Terrebonne General Medical Center.

In her new role, Gaudet plans, organizes and supervises all of the duties of her department to administer medications to patients throughout the hospital. TGMC pharmacy dispenses 6,000 medications a day, which averages to 2.2 million a year. Gaudet supervises a staff of 29, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and a pharmacy buyer. She is also responsible for managing compliance with the many federal and state laws that regulate the procurement, compounding and dispensing of medications for all hospital patients.

Gaudet got her start with TGMC in high school, serving as a pharmacy clerk. After completing her degree at the University Of Louisiana-Monroe School of Pharmacy, Gaudet began working at TGMC as a staff pharmacist and then pharmacy manager. She is actively involved with clinical pharmacy, pharmacy informatics installations, performance improvement, Joint Commission preparation and community events.

Haskew to lead Capital One Middle Market Commercial Banking

Chris Haskew has been tapped to lead Capital One’s Middle Market Commercial Banking business in Louisiana.

Haskew is responsible for a team of Capital One commercial bankers and administrators who meet the financial needs of corporate and middle market companies headquartered in Louisiana. He has 23 years of banking experience.

Haskew most recently served as regional manager, North Louisiana Commercial Banking.

A native of Chattanooga, Tenn., Haskew received a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Louisiana State University. He has been active in the communities in which he has lived and worked, serving as Capital One Bank’s North Louisiana Market President and as a board member of the David Toms Foundation, Shreveport Chamber of Commerce, Salvation Army, Shreveport Symphony and Volunteers of America. Haskew also has chaired the Paint Your Heart Out Shreveport event in 2014 and 2015.

Synergy Bank named among ‘Best of the Best’

The Independent Community Bankers Association named Synergy Bank as one of the “Best of the Best” top performing banks in the country in its monthly magazine, “The Independent Banker.”

In the category of C Corporation banks ranging in size from $300,000-$500,000 million, Synergy Bank is ranked 21 and 23 in the country in the categories of Return on Assets and Return on Equity, respectively.
