Mary Ann Dufrene

Mary Ann Foret Dufrene, 68, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015.

Mrs. Dufrene was the owner of The Lockport Motel, and she was a member of Holy Savior Ladies Altar Society, Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Post 349.

She is survived by her husband, Fernand Dufrene Jr.; children, Fernand (Melissa Rushing) Dufrene III, Keli Melancon, Ryan (Brandy) Dufrene and Liana Blanchard; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby Bailey; and her canine companion, Bailey.

Burial is at Holy Savior Catholic Church Cemetery in Lockport, La.
