Jerry Clark Runnels, 69, a native of Lubbock, Texas, and a resident of Bayou Blue, La., died Friday, June 5, at 9:46 a.m.
He is survived by his sons, Ronnie G. Runnels and wife Karen, David W. Runnels, Durrow Loewer, Mickey Loewer and Graig Loewer and wife Dorla; daughters, Denise Runnels, Donna Runnels, Pennye Guest and husband Danny, and Robyn Loewer; and 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie Ann Runnels; third wife, Bettye Runnels; parents, Herbert and Edith Wilson Runnels; son, Ricky Runnels; and brother, Guy “Sonny” Runnels.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1728, Petersburg, Alaska, 99833, Earl Midkiff Ministry.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, at Christ Baptist Church in Houma, La.
