Galeand Raymond Theriot, 71, a native and resident of Franklin, La., died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at 9:08 a.m., at Franklin Foundation Hospital following a long illness.
He is survived by friend, Treasure Ann Williams; sons, Galeand Jr. (Aisha) and Raymond (Francis) Theriot and Marcus Williams; daughters, Rita (John) Jones, Holly and Sharon Theriot and Destiny Williams; brother, Larry (Bobby) and Dennis Theriot; sisters, Earline (Murphy) Armelin, Alnetta (James) Easton, Wanda (Eddy) Jones, Sandra (Don) Depass, Andrea (Melvin) Jackson, Joanne Knighten and Pamela (Marvin) Abraham; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and godchild, Shirlene Brown.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 12, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral will begin at the church at 11 a.m.
He will be buried at Franklin Cemetery.
