Miles touts 2015 recruiting efforts a success

David Francis Champagne, 52, a native and resident of Theriot, Louisiana, died at 2:54 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 2015.
Mr. Champagne was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. He was a Cannata’s “Griz,” Mr. Champagne was happiest in his garden, fishing and cooking. He loved his dog Teko.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Linette Bergeron Champagne; mother, Virginia Marie Champagne; son, Jeffery Champagne; daughter, Courtney (Carrie Barclay) Koldys; one grandson; brother, Paul (Nadine) Champagne; sister, Jennifer (Charles) Toups; and mother-in-law, Enola Bergeron.
Burial is at St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery.
