Jail inmate accused of rape dies after hanging

Racquel Lynn Bergeron Giroir, 40, a native and resident of Houma, La., died on Thursday, June 30, 2016.
Ms. Giroir is survived by her sons, Justin Bergeron and Brent (Cherub) Giroir; daughter, Amber (Phillip) Bergeron; brother, Kirk Bergeron Sr.; sisters, Julie Bergeron and Ginnie (Rickey) Gros; and three grandchildren.
Burial is at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Houma. (Samart)
