Corps of Engineers wins flood fight during Gustav

Priscilla Margaret Ledet, 82, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Thursday, September 4.
She is survived by two brothers, E.P. Ledet Jr. and Billy Ledet; two sisters, Marie Prejeant and Carolyn Hayward; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Ledet and Eerdie Ledet; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin Ledet Sr. and Lily Guidry Ledet; one brother, Henry Cooper; and one sister, Ruby Knobloch.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
