Joseph Plaisance. Joseph Charles “J.C.” Plaisance, 94, a native and resident of Lockport, died on Thursday, November 16, 2017
Mr. Plaisance was a Life Member of American Legion Post 83 in Lockport, Life Member of VFW Post 3665 in Raceland, Member of 40/8 Voiture 1038, and charter Board Member of Lafourche ARC. He also volunteered in many other community organizations including the Lockport Fire Department.
Mr. Plaisance is survived by his daughters, Louise Plaisance Guidry and husband Thomas, and Loretta Plaisance; son, Eric Plaisance and wife Pat; grandchildren, Toby Guidry and companion Margery Thomas, Joey Guidry, Justin Plaisance, and Laura Cortez and husband Kevin Cortez, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Daisy Louise Guidry, Maddox Joseph Eric Plaisance, Tristan Xavier Plaisance, Sydaleigh Anna Cortez and Thomas Joseph “TJ” Cortez.
