Betty Pinell Acosta, 71, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Bayou Blue, La., died on Thursday, December 8, 2016.
Mrs. Acosta was a graduate of the 1964 class of South Terrebonne High School.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Marvin Acosta; children, Corey (Amanda) Acosta, April and Jill (Will) Schieffler and Lacy (Johnnie) Davis; sister, Earline Lirette; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Burial is at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.
