Jail woes continue in Lafourche Parish with tax on hold – for now

May 16, 2011Michael James Pye, 54, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011.
Mr. Pye was Catholic. He was a member and sponsor for the Unity Group in Thibodaux, La.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Ann Cenac Pye; daughter, Shannon (Ron) Haron; granddaughters, Heaven Dene’ and Haley Jane Haron; sister, Sharon Orgeron; godmother, Elaine Cenac; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Joseph Pye; and grandparents, Henry and Beatrice Cenac and Harry and Margarite Trahan Pye. (Samart)
